Obama Tried To Manipulate The Rightwing Press: An Update
Breitbart reports White House at War with Fox News. I guess Roger Ailes didn’t give in. I wonder what was in the offering? It seems that the White House is in overdrive trying to quash opposition. B&GF at The Right Stuff reports on the latest antics of Eric Holder & Co. trying to quash the truth coming from the right wing blogs. Obama truly understands the Marxist maxim that peace is the absence of opposition. Troll all you want Eric and Barry, it won’t help.

Obama Tries to Manipulate The Rightwing Press
The Politico and the New York Times both reported that Roger Ailes and David Axelrod met to discuss Fox News and it’s rough handling of the president.
According to The Politicio:
The two discussed news coverage and the relationship between the organizations.
An FNC spokesperson tells POLITICO that Ailes and Axelrod had a “cordial conversation” over coffee while the president was in town.
White House officials have expressed pique with what they consider heavy coverage of Obama critics by opinion shows on the news channel.
Obama aides showed their displeasure by omitting “Fox News Sunday” when the president granted interviews last month to the other Sunday shows.

Gwen Ifil’s role as debate facilitator is insane. Why not just have Oprah or Michelle Obama moderate the debate? Ifil has something at stake here: she has written a book, The Age of Obama. If he winds, she stands to make a lot of money. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gwen sang back up for “Singing for Change” or is a member of Obama’s Truth Squad. Whatever the case, having a lackey moderate the debate is the height of incestuous journalism. Goebbels would be proud.
