It’s 1773

Is it 1773? Are we ready for our own version of the Coercive Acts? If our current situation doesn’t mirror in some way the history of our country leading up to 1776, I don’t know what does. We have a leader and politicians that disregard what the people want, that seek to oppress us with more taxes and laws. The difference is that we have elected these mountebanks and still they act poorly with impunity and without regard to their tenure. At the very least the democrats face a reversal of fortune never seen in the country. Beyond that, to the extreme, if Obama continues his progressivist socialist/fascist agenda regards of electoral outcomes in 2010, he risks breaking The Union. Unlike 1865, he would be on the losing side.
